§ 5.07. Recall Election to be Called:

  • If the City Secretary certifies to the City Council that a Recall Petition has been certified as having been signed by at least ten percent (10%) of the number of registered voters eligible to vote in the last City election and if the officer whose removal is sought by the Recall Petition does not resign, then it shall be the duty of the City Council to order an election and fix a date for holding such recall election, the date of which election shall be the next uniform election date on which a special election may be timely called.
